The deck focuses on casting efficiently-costed artifacts (Ichor Wellspring, Chromatic Star, Vault Skirge) as well as 12 different artifact dual lands to quickly build up affinity, and then cast powerful artifact creature threats (with affinity) to put early pressure on your opponent.
- The deck adds a number of cheap yet powerful spells, many of which feature affinity to add value or keep your opponent at bay including Galvanic Blast (direct damage/removal), Metallic Rebuke (counterspell), Reckoner's Bargain and Thoughtcast (card draw), and also features cantrip effects in Ichor Wellspring and Chromatic Star.
- You can quickly filter through your deck, find your threats, and put immense pressure on your opponent. The deck adds 2 copies of Gurmag Angler as a powerful end-game threat, as well as Makeshift Munitions to throw extra direct damage at your opponent.
