The Resolution RE508X is a universal hardwire to wireless translation device. When faced with upgrading your existing security system to the newer modular security systems which have no ( or limited) hardwired inputs on-board, the RE508X is the perfect solution to continue using these working wired zones! Each security system manufacturer uses their own propriety wireless signal for their RF transmitters to communicate back to its RF receiver. The RE508X is a universal wireless translator designed to work with the major wireless security vendors.
